TSSA Plan

During the 2019 Legislative Session, monies were set aside for the Teacher and Student Success Act (TSSA)

The 2020-2021 TSSA plan for Bates Elementary is below

Goal #1:

60% of students in grades 1-6 will achieve typical or above typical growth on DIBELS using pathways of progress

 

Goal #1 Action Steps

1-Paraprofessionals will be trained and used to provide students with progress monitoring, intervention, and enrichment (32,000)

2-Funding of .25 salary and benefits to provide class reduction  (9,000)

3-In partnership with other schools, TSSA funds will secure the services of a mental health professional who will work with students who struggle with Social and emotional issues ($1850)

4-Software tool will be purchased to identify emotional needs. ( $250)
