Bates Elementary Suggested School Donations 2022-2023

The items on this list will be used during the regular school day.  

These items may be brought from home on a voluntary basis. Otherwise, they will be furnished by the school.
We appreciate any donations of non-instructional items: paper towels, tissues, clorox wipes. 

 Kindergarten

1st Grade

• ½ inch white binder (Tingey Only)
• 2 black sharpie markers
• 10 Glue Sticks
• 2 large pink erasers (Booth Only)
• 1 box TICONDEROGA Pencils ONLY (Carter and Tingey)
• Pencil Box (Booth Only)
• 1 box of “My First Pencils”
• Headphones (no earbuds)-labeled with name

2nd Grade

3rd Grade

4th Grade

• Durable pencil pouch (approx.7”x10”)
• 5-10 Expo white board markers

5th Grade

• Durable pencil box or pouch
• Colored pencils
• Colored Markers (not permanent)                    
• Large eraser (fixing mistakes is how we learn)
• Extra pencils (lots!)

• 5-10 dry erase markers (used daily)
• (2) 1.5” binder w/ clear front pocket (Bird and Peng only)
• 2  wide ruled composition books (non-spiral) ( Swanson only)

6th Grade
